Our golfing fundraiser was a success!

Thank you to our golfers, local companies and volunteers for making our fundraiser a success. The 1st Annual Dr. Mary Ludwig Montgomery County Free Clinic Golf Scramble is in the books! Because of your generosity and commitment to our clinic, we are able to continue delivering healthcare with dignity to those who are uninsured.

We cleared just over $12,000 which is good for our first time. We had 18 teams signed up and all showed despite an uncertain forecast. We will be posting next spring for our next Golf Scramble.

The sky looks ominous as we arrived early to set up for our event. Our golfers began arriving at 8am and were treated to homemade baked goods from local chefs, Lali Hess and Rick Warner and Starbucks coffee. By tee time at 9am, the clouds were clearing and it was a beautifully pleasant day for golfing.

Clinic volunteers that helped during the day of the outing included: Donna Hendrickson, Dawn Hutson, Judy Pfledderer, Nancy Buckles, Chuck Ranspach and Julie Bergfors. Also helping were Brandon Peacock, Dan Bergfors and Patti Perkins.

Rocky Ridge Staff were wonderful in helping set-up, cooking food, placing score cards and keeping things running smoothly.
